This policy explains how JAYSHREEMADHAV BUISNESS WORLD LLP ("QuickDrop", "we") handles personal data when you use the QuickDrop customer app, the QuickDrop Driver app and this website. We process data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Data we collect
- Mobile number (to sign in with a one-time code), name, and optionally email and profile photo.
- Device information needed for notifications (a push token) and basic app logs to fix problems.
- Messages you send to support, ratings and reviews.
- Pickup and drop addresses, contact names and numbers you enter for each stop.
- Your location, only while you use the app to choose a pickup point.
- Details and photos of the goods you add to a booking.
- Payment records. Card, UPI and bank details are entered with Razorpay and are not stored by us.
- Driving licence, vehicle registration (RC), insurance, fitness certificate, ID proof and vehicle photos, to verify you.
- Precise location, including in the background, only while you are online in the Driver app, so we can offer you nearby bookings and show customers where their goods are. Going offline stops location sharing.
- UPI ID or bank account details for withdrawals, wallet transactions and earnings.
- Pickup and delivery photos you take during a trip.
How we use it
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To price, dispatch, track and complete bookings, and to send trip codes and updates.
- To verify drivers and keep the platform safe (SOS alerts, fraud checks, support and disputes).
- To process payments, refunds, invoices, driver wallets and payouts.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- The other side of your trip: customers see the driver's name, photo, vehicle, rating and live location during the trip; drivers see the pickup and drop details and contact numbers for that trip.
- Service providers who work for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting, Mumbai region), Google (maps, places and routes; Firebase notifications), Razorpay (payments), our SMS/WhatsApp provider (one-time codes).
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we remove your name, email, photo, saved places, documents and sign-in sessions. Records of trips, payments and invoices are kept without your name for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can see and correct your details in the app, withdraw consent, and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). You can also contact our Grievance Officer below.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Documents are private and opened only through short-lived links by authorised staff. Staff access is limited by role and every sensitive action is logged.
Children
QuickDrop is not meant for anyone under 18.
